After 18 seasons in the NHL, Doug Gilmour has hung up the skates. The announcement came Saturday morning, two days after the Sabres were eliminated from the 2001 Stanley Cup playoffs. Gilmour had 2 goals and 4 assists in the Sabres run for the Cup this year. He had 7 goals and 31 assists in the 2000-2001 regular season. In his Hall of Fame career, Gilmour played with St. Louis, Calgary, Toronto, New Jersey, Chicago, and Buffalo. He won the Stanley Cup in 1989 with Calgary. More in Featured Sabre...
